“Tabula Rasa” is the fifth studio album of Willis Drummond. It’s been 4 years since “A ala B” (Bidehuts, 2012), their last album, which led them to give around 200 concerts, from Baiona to Berlin, from the Supersonic in Cadiz to the Olympia in Paris. At the end of 2014, the band announced an indefinite break closing a cycle of 10 years. 2 years later, “Tabula Rasa” is a symbol of rebirth.
Willis Drummond have never seen the past as a golden era. Of course the influence of 90s (Seattle, Washington, Boston or Irun) independent and alternative scenes or 80s post-punk is still obvious, even the influence of punk rock bands such as Dead Boys. So they´ve assimilated all that to get closer to the most recent Australian productions of bands like New Christs, Beasts of Bourbon or The Drones.
